"Surgery and recovery at Goole Hospital"

I recently had planned knee replacement surgery. During my whole stay at Goole I saw and experienced nothing but the highest professional care. Every member of staff was cheerful, caring and went about their duties calmly and professionally. The surgery team were chatty and informative, putting my obvious nerves at ease. The ward was an excellent place to recover, quiet with attentive staff. The food was unexpectedly good and a fair range of choices on the menu. I found the surgery quite painful but my pain and recovery was well managed in a patient and effective way. I cannot speak more highly of the care that I have received at this hospital by this crew of dedicated professionals who ran the ward in a smooth, efficient and cheerful way.
