"I am not a time-waster although I was made to..."

Went to A & E this morning out of desperation. I have had a very painful shoulder and neck for week now. I did attempt to see my GP when this started but waiting times for an appointment are ridiculously long and the earliest available appointment is still the best part of a week away. Got to triage only to be told by the two nurses there that my problem wasn't an A & E issue. It was an emergency (through no fault of mine) as far as I was concerned that needed resolving. Just what constitutes an emergency in the opinion of these people? Very unhappy with the uncaring, unsympathetic and somewhat rude attitude. Went to the walk-in centre in Colchester rather than waste anymore of the Broomfield staff's very precious time with my totally trivial and most likely made-up very minor ailment. What a difference; caring, professional and efficient. Light years ahead of Broomfield in absolutely every aspect.
