"Injury while playing sport"

About: Cumberland Centre

I injured my leg while playing sport and went to the Cumberland centre due to being in a lot of pain and sat for 2 hours which is obviously less than A&E after being seen by the first nurse I was then seen by a second nurse who asked me if I am

Hypermobile to which I answered yes and they lost all interest in what I was saying then sent me for an X-ray called me back into see them and told me I've only over stretched a ligament and they didn't know what I wanted them to do! They then said "I'll give you some crutches not that you actually need them" after two weeks Alf agony I went to see my GP as the swelling still hadn't gone down and I've actually ruptured my ACL. I then get a phone call asking for my crutches back and I explain to what's happened and all I get back is well which department has told you this as they run off of a different budget I then explained that I'm likely go to have to have an operation which means I'll still need them and their reply was how long is that going to take I'll call you in a month! This is not the first time that I personally have been diagnosed completely wrong along with many of my friend and family.
