"Fabulous care"

About: The James Cook University Hospital

My husband was admitted to JCUH on 13 July, originally onto ward 8.

He had surgery on 1 August and then had stays on HDU, ICU, HDU again and thenWard 7.

A total on 9 weeks in hospital.

During this time the care he received from surgeons, doctors and nursing staff was exceptional.

Far beyond our expectations and always in a polite and courteous manner.

The support we received as a family was amazing and we cannot thank everyone enough for their dedication.

The cleanliness of all the wards was superb.

The ward hostesses were extremely helpful . Thank you to all concerned in his care.

I am very pleased that your husband’s inpatient episode was such a positive experience.

I will ensure your kind comments are passed to Senior Managers for the relevant areas, so the members of staff concerned are made aware of the positive feedback received from you.

It may interest you to know the trust welcomes nominations for the Trust’s annual ‘Nightingale Awards’ which, once a year, recognises the important contribution nurses and midwives make to patients and their families on a day-to-day basis.
