"generic telephone number 0113 206 9999"

Last week I missed a phone call from 0113 206 9999 and when I tried to return the call to the above number it said 'sorry this number does not accept incoming calls'. As I had no way of getting in touch and did not even know the name of the caller, I googled the number and it came up with Leeds Teaching Hospitals. This didn't say which department or even which hospital which is a concern because you are then left wondering why the hospital is trying to ring you but since they don't accept incoming calls or leave their contact details you are left feeling very frustrated!  

I had an appointment booked that week at St James' and so I rang the booking number on my letter but they were unable to help and confirmed that my appointment was still booked so they had no idea why anyone would try to contact me. So I am still in the dark regarding this missed call. Has anyone else had this experience and if so perhaps someone at Leeds Teaching hospitals can throw some light on the use of this number!
