Admitted at 0430 on Sunday morning due to coring on sepsis screen and right sided pneumonia.
Fast treatment from A&E(in particular CN Suzanne and John - Bank nurse who looked after me). Kept informed at all time and medical staff fully explained planned. Despite it being a busy (probably typical now) night in A&E, no staff member too troubled to help when required.
Transferred to ward 2 and received extremely high standard of care, in particular from Caroline (I think) Consideration given to the fact that I was breastfeeding at time and care plan adjusted accordingly. Offered relatives room in order to allow me to do this. Staff all ensured fully informed of care, and felt involved rather than just being 'processed'. Dr Patel and team were excellent.
Transferred to Ward 10 where care continued to be of an exceptional standard. Emma (Nurse) was bright, bubbly, cheerful and demonstrated all the skills expected of a nurse. Dr Sommerfield and team were prompt in treatment.
Overall excellent care from start to finish!
