I attended several appointments with a relative who was being investigated for lung cancer. From the very initial referral the service provided was seamless and the team worked extremely well together providing a fabulous service at a very scary and uncertain time. Both the lung McMillan nurses and the respiratory consultants were knowledgable, kind and professional. Particular praise to the nurse who has a unique balance of professionalism, empathy and humour and made my relative and myself feel like we mattered and nothing was too much trouble. They provided a direct contact with the hospital which we felt able to utilise due to their fabulous nature. As as stated earlier a 5 star, seemless service which is what people require at such a vunerable and scary time in their lives.
