Last Sunday I presented to A&E with a seriously fractured elbow. As I am not a UK citizen was not sure how I would fare with the NHS. My treatment was amazing. I was seen within minutes by the triage nurse and then directed to the injuries unit. From there XRays and a CT scan with the dreadful outcome that I would need an elbow replacement. I am now back in Austrslia waiting for the surgery but could have had it at
Wythenshawe. I cannot praise highly enough your hospital. The nurses, the orthopedic doctors, the admin staff, the Radiography staff. Everyone was efficient and exemplary. The system worked for me. I will be sending a letter to the hospital with personal thanks.
