"Appointment booking"

The care received is second to none, when you eventually get seen, but the administration of appointments is appalling. They are sent out late and second class arriving at just before the appointment and sometimes after.

Ringing to change is difficult as the phone is engaged most of the time or you get though to an answer machine, or the department is closed.No thought is given to the distances patients have to travel when offering times, or that they may work and can't just drop everything. The appointment booking needs to improve and be more patient focused
