"Care for our elderley mother on Kings D Female"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) / Older people's healthcare

Our elderly (96 years of age) mother suffered a fractured hip and was brought into William Harvey in an extremely poor way. Her stay was from 19/08/16 to 7/09/16. All Nursing and Support Staff were always kind/ efficient/ friendly and helpful, to both our mother and us as relatives/ visitors. Within the time of her stay she improved immensely and was subsequently able to return to her Care Home, in a very much improved condition. Thanks to everyone concerned for your sterling efforts!

Thank you very much for your kind comments about the ward staff at the William Harvey Hospital.

I am so pleased to hear that they looked after your mother so well and that she was able to return in a much better state to her Care Home.

Families are often anxious and worried about their relatives - understandably so - and it is good to hear that the staff looked after you too.
