"Need to have more phlebotomists"

About: Purley War Memorial Hospital

The lack of phlebotomists and the waiting times are very poor at Purley. This is my second visit and both times I had to wait for more than an hour. With times like this I will travel to the main CHS on Thornton road. Not good at all. There is always only one pllebotomist. It is 2pm and the waiting time is over 60 mins

I am sorry to learn of the delays you experienced when you attended the Phlebotomy Department, Croydon Health Services at Purley Hospital and I have shared your dissatisfaction with Mr Leon Bygrave, Service Manager.

If you would like to contact Mr Bygrave direct he would be pleased to investigate the circumstances of these delays so that he can make improvements to the service.
