"My concerns were not listened to"

I went to the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary last week for a blood test. They asked me to roll up the sleeve of my right arm so I explained that I have Parkinson's and that my right arm shakes especially when extended. "That's all right love, it doesn't matter we can still get it" they said to me. Even though I was thinking that wasn't what I meant, I was scared the needle would move about as I couldn't keep still enough and it would hurt me, I let them continue. (What is it about hospitals and thinking I should do as I’m told?)
They took the sample from my right wrist (the shakiest bit of my arm and right over the bone). It hurt abominably and I am now covered in bruises right round my wrist. I think some medical personnel ought to listen more to a patient's concerns rather than making some people like me feel patronised. I also think they should make sure they have understood what any concerns are actually about.
