"Can never get an appointment"

I often find when I ring to make appointments I stuggle to get an appointment if I do I can expect at half hour wait, which is annoying especially if I've rushed to be on time. I've been to a and e with an ear infection on the past as I couldn't get a doctors appointment for over a week, I'd rather go to my doctors especially when I know it's a minor illness. When I ring to make an appointment they often tell me they have no pre bookable appointments. The time I ended up in a and e they couldn't book me a appointment as it was a Friday.
