"Horrible Dr. Horrible time."

With an ongoing condition I'm getting increasingly frustrated by the process and treatment i'm receiving. Waited three months to be seen on the outpatients waiting list. (a system that relies on people cancelling to hit targets). I was in and out within 5 minutes of my appointment, no closer to getting myself better because the doctor said i should have had an ultrasound before this appointment. This had in fact been booked for me a week after this appointment. I can forgive an overstretched NHS these mistakes, even though its me who is suffering. What I can't forgive is the manner the Dr. spoke to me. Blunt to the point of rudeness, I was stunned into silence by not only being told the appointment i'd travelled 40 minutes to get to was a waste of time, but that I should be doing my own research because i'm a uni graduate, and that if i want any chance of surgery I need to say i want to start a family. Apparently the debilitating pain and awful drug side effects aren't enough to warrant surgery or an empathetic medical practitioner to talk to.
