My son has been struggling for years with severe anxiety. He has a diagnosis of ASD. I have been trying to access support for him from CAMHS for three years or more but nobody will see him. He is now showing signs of depression and is barely attending school. If he was an adult, accessing support would be so much easier. I am very angry and upset that the mental health of children is treated in this way.
