As can be seen from the ratings given above my experience in Ward 20 could not be faulted. There was a pre op briefing several days in advance of the actual colonoscopy when it was possible to ask questions about any part of the procedure that might be unclear. On the day itself there was another thorough preparatory briefing which helped to calm any worries about what was about to occur. The doctor and their team were, as was expected, very professional at all times but they were also friendly, kind and reassuring. The ancillary staff maintained the friendly and helpful atmosphere throughout my visit and the refreshments provided were exceedingly welcome. I am most grateful that the whole experience went so smoothly. Thank you to all concerned.
