I was admitted for removal of a spinal meningioma T3 thoracic area. The surgeons told me when I asked that they had not operated on an anterior meningioma before only on posterior meningiomas. However the confidence that my surgeons engendered made me feel as relaxed about the operation as I could be. The operation went very well & after several months of not being able to walk properly I was able to feel my lower limbs again. There is no doubt in my mind that I was lucky enough to have the finest surgeons & aftercare that it was possible for me to have. I consider myself very lucky & thank everyone from the cleaners, the catering staff, nurses, doctors & consultants. I am doing well at home & continue to make a good recovery. A sincere thank you to all involved in my treatment & aftercare on Murray Falconer ward, you do such a wonderful job & always with a smile.
