I have had 8 infections in the past two years and it has always been treated with antibiotics. When I got to the Soho walk in center this morning with very bad pain and a big red circle in my ankle, the "Advanced Nurse" hardly listened to me and said that I wasn't an infection but a localized allergic reaction. I ended to believe the nurse and bought some antihistamine although I never had any allergy in my all life, but on the night, the red circle started to spread and I went to the hospital, where they told me it was in fact an infection and "of course everybody knows that a localized allergy doesn't stay for 2 weeks". I got treated with antibiotics but spent an hour for nothing at the Soho walk in centre.
"Wrong diagnosis led me to hospital"
