I was not a patient here however a good friend of mine was, he was ready to be discharged and after a long talk with the hospital I agreed to put him up for 2 months at most. The main concern I had was that as soon as he had left the hospital he would be left completely high and dry with regards to finding another place to live. I was assured this would not be the care many many times and as another professional now dealing with the situation has said "St Anne's had no right to promise anything" so as it stands there's another homeless person with mental health issues out on the street as nothing more I can do.
