"Excellent Care"

About: Spire Washington Hospital

In June I had surgery on my spine, it was quite big operation, discs removal, nerves separated, cyst taken off near my spinal cord, and rods and screws put in, I was told of all the pitfalls, but I was in so much pain I was housebound for so long, I thought anything was better than this. Four days after the operation I went home armed with strong pain killers but I was happy to say I stopped taking them the next day, as I could manage the pain with Paracetamol, I did have discomfort but nothing compared to the pain before the operation, three months on and I am so glad I had the operation, I can now walk much better, get out of bed with no effort, I still have some discomfort (early days yet), but I would highly recommend the operation, my surgeon, all of the staff at the Spire, you really didn't have to ask them for anything, they knew exactly what you needed, thank you to everyone for making my stay as pleasant as it could be.
