"day surgery consultant was rude and insulting"

i recently was admitted to the day surgery unit for a novasure ablation.the nursing staff were friendly and helpful and performed their duties together very well and made me feel very reassured.However when it came to meeting the surgeon who was to perform the operation i found this member of staff to be abrupt and judgemental. Far from reassuring me before going under anesthetic i was ready to walk out of the hospital after the surgeon spoke to me.not only did they scare me with the possible complications but the surgeon was so unpleasant i did not want them to touch me and I was left in tears. thankfully the senior nursing staff were there to talk to me and calm me down and reassure me that it was worth me doing the operation as i was there. After the operation the surgeon was even worse and i was again left in tears.I will have to have another procedure later this year and i will be actively seeking another consultant or another hospital. I would like to say again that all the other staff were excellent and this review is solely about the consultant.
