"everything about the consultation was first class"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I had an appointment at a dermatology clinic recently to get a dodgy looking mole checked out in case it was cancerous - and what an excellent experience.

Although I had to wait about twenty minutes before seeing the doctor, everything about the consultation was first class.

The doctor was polite, charming, informative and very thorough. I was treated like a human being, and not an object to be processed, by the nurse, the doctor and by the medical photographer who took pictures of my mole, and I was back in the car park (happily with a clean bill of health) within forty minutes of arriving.

This was the NHS at its best. Thank you so much!

Dear bradach,

Many thanks for taking the time to give your positive feedback, I will share this with the Dermatology Team and also the Medical Photography Department. I am glad that all was well when attending to have your moles checked.
