"Minor Injuries visit 10 September 2016"

About: St Albans City Hospital

I visited on Saturday morning around 10.30am and was seen reasonably promptly. I was given good advice on my injury and how to manage / treat with a helpful leaflet.

I was referred to Hemel Hempstead for a precautionary X-Ray and again was promptly seen with the results uploaded electronically so that St. Albans could further assist if I wanted to avoid a consultation wait at Hemel Hempstead.

I phoned St. Albans and spoke with the team member and they were able to review my X-Ray and give further advice as possible fracture was evitent.

I found the process efficient and reassuring, particularly given the treatment advice and how to avoid harm, as well as the follow up guidance.

10 out of 10 service.

Thank you.
