"Excellent Livesaving Care"

On Weds 07/09/16 my partner was brought in to the MRI by paramedics following a massive heart attack. We went straight from ambulance to Cardiac Cath Lab. There was no waiting time at all. Doctors and nurses were waiting for my partner and gave him immediate, lifesaving treatment. Without their excellent and skilled care delivered in a compassionate manner he would no longer be alive. The staff were also extremely kind in meeting my personal needs as I was obviously extremely stressed at the time. My partner is now home recuperating and it is thanks to the wonderful staff at the Acute Cardiac Centre that he is home. Even if I had to nitpick and find a fault I could not. The care give was wonderful and I would have no hesitation is recommended this wonderful hospital.

We understand that this must have been a very frightening and difficult experience for you both and we are pleased that your partner is now at home recuperating. We were very pleased to read that the efforts of our staff in providing urgent care to your partner were to a high standard and that you felt that it was timely and compassionate. It is always good to receive feedback which highlights the hard work and dedication of our staff. We will ensure that your feedback is passed on to the Lead Nurse of both the Cardiac Cath Lab and the Acute Cardiac Centre so that it can be shared with the wider teams.
