About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

I am having

Chemotherapy and had a high temperature and felt unwell. Advised by Chemotherapy 24hour helpline to come to A&E. We arrived about 9pm, put in a special double barrier room, given antibiotics immediately, bloods taken and all necessary tests done to find the infection. Fortunately I wasn't Neutropenic but was kept in the MAU where I was well cared for until the next evening.

All the staff were brilliant and it is reassuring that everything done followed the guide lines to a letter. Thank you all.
