"Nice environment."

About: Seacroft Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Nice environment.

What could be improved

I was left waiting for nearly 2 hours to then be seen by a "number 2" rather than the doctor stated. There was no indication of waiting time and I saw the doctor I was supposed to be seeing several times completely free.

Anything else?

The person who I did see said they would send me a letter regarding injections for my back pain. This was on the 5th March and I still have nothing on the 7th April. Through numerous phone calls the pain management number provided is either engaged or goes to voicemail. I have left messages and nobody has called me back. So I am writing to everyone and providing feedback wherever possible in a hope somebody improves the customer service!

Thank you for taking the time to feedback (via the NHS Choices website) your recent experience at Seacroft Hospital.

I was sorry to learn of the 2 hour wait you had before being seen by a doctor, the lack of communication regarding injections for your back pain and the difficulty you have had in getting in touch with the service. Can I suggest you contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service on the freephone number 0800 0525270 who will be able to help you resolve this issue.

We will pass your comments on to the Patient Relations Manager at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
