"Nurse visit"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

This hospital has been very good to me with my ear problem which is Eustachian tube dysfunction which is a nightmare to live with. I had a grommet operation done on my left ear and it was very difficult having it done but it has slightly helped. I would recommend the tinnitus nurse here as they can provide support on a one to one basis and supply white noise generators. The ENT doctor has been very understanding and helpful with my ear trouble. They are doing a grommet operation on my right ear now where I have to go in to theatre under generic anaesthetic. I also saw a nurse to make sure I was ready for the operation and they were very polite and understanding of my needs.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our ENT department. I am pleased that the care and treatment you have received is of the high standard we aim to provide. I have shared your kind words with the teams involved, who I am sure will be delighted and greatly encouraged by them.
