"Left tonsillectomy"

I had been going to my Consultant for check-ups every 6 months from September 2015 until September 2016 after I fell ill with tonsillitis. One of my tonsils remained swollen and so for safety they advised that I get it removed. I was impressed by the speed in which they booked me in for an appointment - only two days! The surgery went extremely well and both the nurses and surgeon were very supportive during the whole procedure. I was repeatedly asked if I had any concerns or queries about the surgery and recovery period and I am thankful that they were all so conscientious. The anaesthetist was also very calm and supportive prior to and after my operation.
