"Disappointing experience"

About: Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre

It would have been helpful if the person conducting the procedure had 1. Introduced themselves - name and role. 2 Explaned what would happen during the procedure. 3 Provided reassurance before and during the process.

The corridor and entrance to the clinic room was full of cardboard boxes and gave appearance of being a casual store area. It did not imbue a sense of confidence.

I would be willing to discuss my experience with a hospital representative.

I have no reason to believe the procedure itself was in any way not of a professional standard.

The department I visited is not listed below.

Dear Rob

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and for discussing your experience with me on 21.09.16.

I am of course very sorry that on this occasion we fell short of your expectations but feel the constructive comments you made are both justified and will help us to improve those elements that were disappointing. We agreed on a plan of action and you confirmed that you wanted these comments to be treated as a learning outcome not as a complaint or concern and hence I have logged them as such.

Once again, thank you for your time.
