I cant praise the team in the Day Surgery unit enough for the care my 12 year old daughter received on her visit for a minor operation earlier this week.
Every member of staff we met was kind and ensured that my daughter understood what was going to happen in a really child friendly way.
They took her mind off the upcoming procedure brilliantly - from the tablet device used to entertain her while they administered her anesthetic, to the bright green gauze that covered the canula.
A big thank you to everyone.
