"too little too late"

I was referred by my GP, but had to wait more than 2 months for an appointment. We filled in a strange form that asked ridiculous questions - of course I feel that I need to be seen as soon as possible. When I arrived for my first appointment the reception area was empty. I was called in half an hour later than my appointment time. As a result I felt the consultation was rushed and I had questions about the assessment that went unanswered. The second appointment, a month later was the same, this time 20 minutes late and rushed. The second appointment just repeated the assessment of the first and again my questions went unanswered. I felt it was a waste of everyone's time really. I have cancelled the next follow up and will pay to go privately. The organisation seems a bit shambolic
