"Appointment system terrible"

About: Charing Cross Hospital / Neurosurgery

Been waiting for an appointment for 6 weeks after my specialist referred me. When I rang to see what's happening they have no record of me and said they hadn't received my referral which I know was sent as I received a dated copy myself. I am off work due to illness and need this sorted asap but find myself going around in circles with the booking team. Someone should take accountability.
