I recently had an appointment at the hospital, but due to the unforeseen amount of traffic and the difficulty in finding the appropriate department, I was quite late.
The staff were very nice, but being late was not helpful to anyone.
The problem when arriving at the hospital was distance from the car park to the appropriate department.
This took a long time to find, since it was on the other side of the building to the car park and the signage was not at all helpful. Please could I suggest that appointment recipients are sent some kind of plan of the hospital, its departments and the car parks.
I have had experience of this with other hospitals and indeed it was very helpful, particularly with such large hospitals. I have no criticism of the staff at all, they are all very nice, but cleaer signage would be appreciated.
