"Attempting to change appointment"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital / Ophthalmology

Received my appointment but needed to change the date.

Have tried over ten times to contact "appointments" using phone number provided (option 2) and cut off every time, have also tried over five times to speak with a Secretary (option 3), but message just says no one available and cuts you off again.

Not only is this time consuming but the phone bill just keeps increasing..........is there any wonder that appointments get missed if people are unable to contact someone to reschedule!

I am really sorry to learn that you struggled with our automatic phone system, which at peak times does suffer a little.

I hope you were eventually able to find a way forward, but if not please contact PALS (the Patient Advice and Liaison Service) on 01227 864314 or 01227 783145 (please leave a message if you get the answerphone and they will get back to you as soon as possible) or alternatively, email them on ekh-tr.PALS@nhs.net
