"Excellent care from start to finish"

Following an accident I attended A&E at Poole Hospital,in agony,with what turned out to be a knee fracture. You could see that the staff were flat-out with the demand but I couldn't get over how polite,helpful and methodical every person incolved in my case was,from the nurse practitioner to the HCA to the X Ray department. I hsd an overwhelming sense that these people don't just go to work......they really care. I was updated every step of the way and felt like I was in the safest hands possible. What more could you want?

I was subsequently transferred to Ansty Ward for further assessment and to await a CT scan. Again,excellent through and through. The staff nurse on duty really went the extra mile,not just with me but with everyone around me and I'm pretty sure they didn't even take their break that night. I was then transferred onto the TAU and again had excellent service until I was discharged. It's been quite some time since I needed to go to a hospital and all I can say is that these underappreciated people are nothing short of remarkable. Tomorrow I return for reconstructive surgery on my knee. Am I concerned about the standard of treatment I'll receive? No way. Thank you all,so very much!
