Yesterday I had a procedure on my face to re-excise a scar where I had a small tumour removed. The surgeon, (I was under the care of Dr Al-Rawi) and all of the the nurses were absolutely fantastic, as I was really nervous and a bit tearful (I'm a complete wimp with injections), but they were all so patient, kind, helpful and supportive, I truly couldn't have hoped for better care - right from booking me in, to the kind nurse who took my observations and right through to the recovery room, all of the staff were wonderful and an absolute credit to Good Hope Hospital. Medical staff are working under such pressure at the moment and even though ridiculously busy my care felt personal and relaxed. I cannot thank them enough for the excellent care and reassurance that they all provided.

I am so pleased that you felt the staff were all patient, kind and supportive to you as a nervous patient, and that you found the whole process to be efficient, from the booking process and throughout.

Feedback such as yours is very important to us as it helps us to see where services are working well, and when feedback is not so favourable as yours, it allows us to examine the patient's journey or events as they have happened, and implement change whereever needed.

I will ensure that your comments are highlighted to the Dermatology Management Team who will communicate and share with all of their team.
