I have an ongoing chronic illness that requires hospital admission the staff in A@E are great and hard working and aim to get you to ward , but recently I was put on to short stay unit it is manic the staff are fantastic they are friendly hard working . as for some of the Drs they are rude and have no bedside manners this issue should be addressed I was told to go home when sill in chronic pain the Dr was rude and did not pull curtain round for privacy all the room and visitors where listing while the Dr was talking loud I tried to defend my self, the Dr just strut of being rude what respect is this many patients are on ward for no apparent illness and are kept in as there older this is wrong everyone should be entitled to stay if there ill until there feeling better my illness is no fault of my own not self inflicted a mistake from an operation so I should be entitled to come in and have appropriate treatment I need and respect I was n floods of tears the nurses were great and embarrassed by his way I will be taking this further it is not acceptable I'm still ill and in pain very angry all patients should be treated with the same respect.
