Unfortunately at this time I do not know the name of the awful person I had the misfortune to have an echocardigram with. It was the most unpleasant experience, of which I walked out before it was finished. Considering its always a worry gong to hospital for one thing, to go for an investigation is als worrying, this person did not have an ounce of empathy in their body. This person was rude - they asked me "why are you here?" in a sarcastic tone (Im only 51, the other patients there were elderly). Mmm, because my Doctor referred me. They then asked how I knew I had blocked carotid arteres ("youve not had an angioplasty, how do you know" - again, very, very sarcastic tone. I explained (although I shouldnt have to) that Id had a full body thermal imaging scan and that the scan had picked that up. They continued to be sarcastic and rude to each and everything I said after that. They also actually hurt me with the scanner as well (I have osteoporosis and allodynia (and when I asked if it was meant to hurt, they wouldnt answer me at first, so I asked again (3 times) and they eventually replied saying " well we have to dig it into your ribs to get a good picture" (???) At which point Id had enough of the pain and rudeness, jumped of the couch got dressed and left. My side and rib is actually bruised today - which I will photograph as evidence. I will not go back to that
