"Off came the stockings and back with the bandages"

I am in a wheelchair and unable to walk! Having had a long standing problem with my legs and feet. I was measured for elastic stockings with zips up the front but after just three hours of wearing them my mother checked to see if all was well- guess what- I had three blisters on my worst leg so off came the stockings and back with the bandages until my tissue viability nurse came to see what had happened. Now I am waiting for the vascular team to find something better. I want to say the team have been very good and have done quite a lot to sort my situation out for me so thank you to all involved with my problem and yours…. In finding the correct stockings.
