"Prompt and professional care"

About: University Hospital Monklands University Hospital Wishaw

(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward 10 with cellulitis lower leg, the prompt and professional care I received enabled me to be home two days later and prompt return to work.

My thanks to Dr. Campbell, all the nursing staff especially (Gillian and Margaret ).

This treatment was much better than a previous experience somewhere else; I had cellulitis last year which was not treated properly at Wishaw General which ended up with me being admitted to Monklands Hospital by emergecy doctor, by this time my full lower leg was inflamed, with Monklands care and ambulatory care this was cured but I had many weeks of work. I am delighted Monklands dealt with this from the start this time. Thank you

Dear KMB

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience of care within Ward 10 at Monklands Hospital. I appreciate being re-admitted to hospital with a recurring problem can be very worrying, however I am pleased that your treatment and recovery has been uncomplicated, allowing you to be discharged home and return to work quickly.

I will take great pleasure in sharing your posting with the team.

Kind regards

Ruth
