Three weeks ago i was diagnosed with bowel cancer.
Last week I had surgery to remove the tumour.
My treatment since the diagnosis has been absolutely fantastic by everyone - the consultant, the Macmillan nurses, the staff in the Surgical Assessment Unit, the anaesthetists, the staff on Level 5 and Level 9a.
The medical and emotional care and support I received was faultless.
The staff were professional, helpful, caring and so encouraging from the cleaners to the nurses.
Please pass on my thanks to them all.
