What I liked

My Father was admitted as an emergency patient and, following investigations underwent major cardiac surgery. The standard of care he received was superb and the support that his family received from every member of staff we came into contact with was very impressive. Teamwork was very evident and the relaxed, professional atmosphere staff created, gave us all much comfort and confidence. As a health care professional, I know the complexities that can hinder a working shift and without exception, all the staff we met gave us their full attention in a friendly and caring manner. We know the treatment Dad received was also due in part to a whole host of folk we never met including administration, housekeeping, maintenance, management, voluntary and catering staff and to all of you as well, many many thanks. Mum was fortunate to spend time at Heartbeat House which in itself, is also a centre of excellence and to everyone involved in creating some a homely, supportive atmosphere for relatives in what is emotionally a very exhausting time, thank you.
