"Misleading Recepttionist."

I visited the surgery yesterday for an appointment at 09.00am with the nurse and checked in with the machine in the reception.At 09.17am i spoke to the person on reception and asked them about my appointment and was told by them that they would send a message to the nurse saying i had booked in on time.At 0940am i was again about to speak to them when they spoke to me and said the machine hadn't done the booking and i could come back at 11.45am which was no good for me and by this time i was getting very stressed which isn't good and not helping with my medical issues.I told them that i would do a review on this site and they said they would speak to their manager.After a few minutes they came back and said i could come back at 2.45pm which was even later that the previous appointment offered to me or they could take my details and then they would call me this morning the 2nd September so that i could then come in in the morning.I have now just called the surgery at 10.30am and asked about the situation.I have been told that the person whom i spoke to isn't in till 12.00pm and the the Practice Management aren't in today.I've been misled by the person on reception and want to know why i was promised something which was then found out to be wrong.I intend to take this further that nhs choices all the way to the General Medical Council and any other regularatory bodies.
