"This is a first class NHS hospital,"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital / Neurology

I gave been admitted into this hospital on a number of occasions with Neuro problems. From going through the A&E to the Acute ward I have been treat with respect and diginity. Anyone who thinks otherwise should maybe visit an NHS hospital in one of the larger cities,, where same sex acute wards is run if the mill. On the specialised wards is same sex bays. The nurses are excellent and as expected at weekend consultations aren't available until Monday so you may need to stay until then.

Always putting patients needs first.

Like most hospitals Gloucester Royal has an outpatient and specialised units which are just as professional.

Lots of facilities for visitors.

Immaculate and clean.

From the outside it looks like an old building this is misleading inside. Can benefit

From having its own MRI machine.

I do get the impression that gloucesters poplulstion is elderly and the hospital is shaped around that, for an example a stroke unit. Fixing wore bones. Where investment for illnesses for younger people would be beneficial.
