"Review of ENT Day Surgery Experience for Child"

My child was remitted for minor surgery on her nose at the Day Surgery Unit of Kingston Hospital on Tuesday 30th August 2016.

From the moment we arrived at 7.30am to the moment we left at 12noon, we were greeted with smiles and nothing but a warm and encouraging atmosphere by both staff at the reception desk, surgery nurse, anaesthetist and consultant as well as the accompanying surgery team.

The unit was busy but obviously highly organised and both parents and child were put at their ease and the experience left us feeling cared for and fully supported.

I congratulate the team of NHS medical and administrative staff for their excellent manner, service and the experience they gave us at a challenging time for all.
