"Australian family distressed"

I am very sad to hear that my daughter has been kept out of the loop of her long term partner's care. They are a family yet she has not been designated next of kin. They were traveling together with my grandson when this admission occurred unexpectantly. I am trying to get medical information from Australia to the doctor there but getting information on how to do this has been frustrating. My son in law is in Vincent Ward at this moment.. ..note my rating is only related to involving family in care planning.
