I suffered a miscarriage and arrived shortly before 1pm to A&E as advised. Bleeding heavily down my leg and in excruciating pain in a room full of bored-looking people with minor injuries.
It was 7pm before I was eventually checked into Branston ward. The sonographers had since been sent home as they finish at 5. No emergency staff available for such occurrences.
I lost my 3 month old baby.
Some staff were very rude, miserable and unhelpful.
Branston ward staff were fantastic and shocked I was waiting for so long with a major problem.
Utterly horrendous experience.
