I love the NHS and appreciate the work they do but I always hate going to hospitals as I'm a germaphobe and hate the long waits typically associated with hospitals visits. Unfortunately I had to attend Moorfields twice this month, once for a parent and the other for myself. Although both visits took several hours, never did I feel we were sitting around, we were sent from one consultant to another and were seen very quickly - I was very impressed by this triage system. The doctors took their time and made an effort to explain everything in detail and the nurses were simply fantastic - two nurses in particular in the Pre Op Assessment dept were simply brilliant. In both instances they took us through forms and were cracking jokes throughout, which really helped to ease our anxiety. It's also worth pointing out that I've never been to a hospital so clean. Moorfields really lives up to its reputation as one of the leading medical centres' in the world.
"Just brilliant service"
