I recently had to visit A&E with my son as he had hurt his hip. He was in a lot of pain and I was very worried about him (luckily it was nothing serious). I could not thank the nurses in the department enough for their kindness and helpfulness. As we was on our way to x-ray, my son turned round to me and said "mum aren't the doctors and nurses so kind". They made him laugh and joked about how his blood pressure measured how big his muscles were. When we left, he was chuffed that his muscles were "94". Its just the little things that make worrying times more easier, and its all down to the nurses and doctors in this department. The NHS gets criticised a lot, but me personally, I think its absolutely fantastic. To think someone can be so kind and helpful to your son, and they don't even know him, just puts faith back in humanity. Thank you so much again.
