What could be improved

After confirming a breast lump the doctor (a man of few words) told me I'd have to have a mammogram but proceeded to tell me that the mammogram machine was broken. I have to wait TWO WEEKS for an appointment! This is mental torture at the best of times for anyone but for someone who suffers an anxiety disorder its unbearable. How can this happen in todays NHS? It's ridiculous!
